Too busy to update blog!

Okay, according to my neighbor and good friend, Emilia, I am way behind with this blog. I just am super busy and can't find time to update!!!! I have parent/teacher conferences this week and I PROMISE it will be up to date by Saturday night! Emilia, I am going to need lots of your special lemon bars when I am done with it! :)

Ringbearer Logan...

Well, Logan's big weekend finally arrived. He enjoyed being ringbearer in Joel & Jessica's wedding. Jess used to babysit the boys and Joel teaches at my school. I set them up on a blind date a few years ago...it worked!!!! It was a very fun weekend for us~especially Logan!

Tequila Time!!!

On May 28, Jason and I left for Playa del Carmen, Mexico with our good friends Mike & Jenny (Houser) Arel. We had an absolute blast despite the tropical storm that invaded us for the first 5 days. We still managed to boogie board, drink, play cards, drink, go to Cozumel and DRINK!!! Can't wait to go again with them! They were fun to travel with!

Blue Tongues in Aberdeen...

Nothing beats a raspberry slurpy to compare blue tongues!!! We were at Storybook Land in Aberdeen, SD. What a great place to see!

Summer activities winding down...

I hope this first official blog finds all of you healthy and happy and staying cool as the summer heat beats down on us!!! It is amazing how fast summer has gone. I am writing this blog on our first weekend home all summer!

Garrett has just finished up summer soccer. We traveled to tournaments in Fargo, Aberbeen, SD and Blaine, MN. We also had our GF tourney that our organization hosts. Garrett had a successful season and was disappointed for it to end so soon. He also stayed busy playing Cal Ripken baseball and golf.

Logan enjoyed his first year of baseball (t-ball is for babies according to him). He also played golf. Logan has become a big swimmer this summer and could pretty much live in the water.

Wyatt...well he still just tags along with us still. He was going to take skating lessons, but couldn't leave his mom's side long enough to try it. Maybe this fall we'll try again! He did strap on rollerblades the other day and seemed to catch on quick. My big toe is still swollen from all the times he rolled over it!!!

Jason and I are doing well...just enjoying the peaceful weekend! It was nice not to pack up and go anywhere. We could just relax from all the "going" we have done!

Fall soccer will be starting in a month. All three boys will play!!! HOLY MOLY! The tri-schedule begins! Not sure how that will work for us....but it will! :)

Also, watch for pics in a couple of weeks...Logan is a ringbearer for our good friends Joel & Jess. We are so excited for their wedding on Aug. 9. Logan says he is dancing with Jessica all night long!

Something new!

We tend to get so busy that we get out of touch with everyone. We take so many photos and have so much to share, but just don't find the time to do it. So we thought putting this blog together would be a good idea and a new way to let all of our family and friends hear and see what is going on in the Huus house. I hope this helps us stay in touch more often! Blogs are great!
